Recreation & Amenities Near Twin Peaks Homes For Sale

Although the steep location of the neighborhood may remove Twin Peaks from the center of San Francisco's urban activity, the surrounding views more than make up for it, and residents are still able to easily access a multitude of amenities in nearby neighborhoods.

Only a few blocks from the neighborhood, there are several corner grocers, as well as Whole Foods Market for residents' grocery needs. The shopping district on Noe Valley's 24th street is also nearby, home to an abundance of restaurants and shops, including fashion boutiques, toy stores, accessories and gifts, and home furnishings.

For recreation, residents can hike the Twin Peaks' 64-acre park, and take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding city. Twin Peaks is a habitat for the endangered Mission Blue Butterfly, as well as a number of birds and other animals, and visitors to the park have the opportunity to catch a glimpse of the wildlife in their natural habitat.

There are also two parks within walking distance of the Twin Peaks neighborhood. Noe Valley Courts and Playground has a children's play area and tennis courts, and Douglass Playground has the same, as well as basketball courts, a multi-use field, and a dog park.
