Located in the northeast of San Francisco, adjacent to Chinatown, Fisherman’s Warf and Russian Hill.   Often referred to as Little Italy there are many popular Italian ristorantes, cafes and outdoor eateries.  North Beach was also the historic center of the beatnik subculture.  Forming the center of this neighborhood is Washington Square Park and the neo-gothic spires of Saints Peter and Paul Church. Climbing up to Coit Tower you'll find magnificent views overlooking the city and the Bay.   Much of the neighborhood was built in the 1920’s, is somewhat compact and consists of apartments, duplexes and Victorian homes.

The density of this neighborhood makes driving and parking a challenge, however it is easily accessible by major bus lines and Cable Cars.
